How important is reliability in a new car search? Statistics show we keep cars, SUVs, and trucks an average of 8.4 years. Sports cars normally don’t rack up the mileage since they are usually not driven daily and are in the top 10 new cars owners keep the longest. The Toyota Land Cruiser is car most owners hold on to a long time – an average of 11.4 years.
