Dean & Draper Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to support our Risk Management Department; someone who thrives on delivering strategic guidance and exceptional client service.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and key liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring claims are handled efficiently and exposures are minimized. Key Responsibilities
Claims Oversight & Coordination
- Manage client claims (commercial and personal lines) from reporting through resolution
- Coordinate with carriers, adjusters, and third parties to ensure timely handling
- Review complex claims, monitor reserves, and recommend settlement strategies
Client Advocacy & Communication
- Lead claim review meetings and present loss trends and summaries
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing clear updates and guidance throughout the claims process
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and issue escalation
Carrier & Vendor Management
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, adjusters, and vendors
- Escalate issues and collaborate with legal counsel and other partners as needed
Data Analysis & Risk Support
- Analyze loss data to identify trends and drivers
- Prepare reports and support renewal and risk improvement strategies
- Partner with internal teams to reduce claim frequency and severity
- Identify workflow improvements to enhance client outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of claims experience (commercial and/or personal lines)
- Experience with auto, liability, property, and workers’ compensation claims
- Active Texas Claims Adjuster License (required)

- Strong knowledge of claims practices and coverage
- Data analysis and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred: Adjuster’s Lines, All-lines
