Houston-based insurance agency named to TEXAS MONTHLY list of Best Companies to Work for in Texas 2011
HOUSTON — Dean & Draper Insurance Agency, LP, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Texas, recently received the honor of being named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas 2011.
The list honors the top 100 companies in Texas, and is a project of TEXAS MONTHLY, the Texas Association of Business, the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group. This statewide survey and awards program identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Texas, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.
The nominated company's workplace policies, practices and demographics were worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. An employee survey to measure the employee experience was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Dean & Draper will be recognized and honored at the Best Companies to Work for in Texas awards ceremony Jan. 27 as part of the Texas Association of Business 2011 Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. The rankings will also be released in a special advertising section of the February 2011 issue of TEXAS MONTHLY.
