Dean & Draper is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Private Client Account Manager/Business Development professional to join our personal insurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with Private Clients, developing new business opportunities, and providing exceptional service tailored to the unique needs of affluent individuals and families. This role requires a deep understanding of personal insurance products, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to create customized insurance solutions for HNW clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all personal insurance needs.
Understand clients' financial goals, lifestyle, and risk management needs to provide tailored insurance solutions.
Conduct regular reviews of clients' insurance portfolios to ensure appropriate coverage and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the high net worth segment to grow the client base.
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to target potential HNW clients.
Collaborate with referral partners, such as wealth managers, financial advisors, and attorneys, to generate leads and secure new business.
Customized Insurance Solutions:
Provide expert advice on a range of personal insurance products, including property and casualty, liability, auto, and specialty insurance.
Work closely with underwriters to design and negotiate custom insurance programs that meet the unique needs of HNW clients.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in insurance products to offer the best solutions.
Client Service and Support:
Handle client inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
Facilitate claims processing by liaising with clients, adjusters, and insurance carriers.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, problem resolution, and ongoing support.
Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, insurance policies, and communications.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Prepare and present reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or business development within the personal insurance industry, specifically catering to high-net-worth clients.
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with affluent clients and driving new business growth.
Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential client information.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), or Certified Risk Manager (CRM).
Experience working with luxury brands, private banks, or in the financial services sector.
