Last year on Memorial Day we were all confined by Covid-19. Our suggestions for that holiday revolved around staying home and safe. What a difference a year has made.
In 2021, we are not only honoring those who gave their lives in the service of our country we are celebrating the return of some of our freedoms. This year we have gatherings and events available for celebrating our country and freedom.
Taps Across America
On the CBS Sunday Morning program today, a truly moving and fascinating event came to our attention – Taps Across America. On Memorial Day at 3:00PM in your time zone, please pause for one minute to remember those Americans who have died in the service of our country.
If you play an instrument, you are invited to sound taps as you feel appropriate and add your video to symphony of your colleagues. Click here for the link. To view today’s Taps Across America segment on CBS Sunday Morning, click here.
